We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate for the Sr. Electrical Engineer improves equipment reliability by reducing machine downtime and unscheduled maintenance in a continuous manufacturing process environment. They will also provide suggestions for new and existing maintenance procedures and perform capital improvement projects.
Responsibilities
The Sr. Electrical Engineer will be reportable to the Maintenance Manager and have responsibilities for the following tasks:
Provide technical support to the I&E Maintenance team
Proactively support preventive and predictive maintenance programs and recommend improvements
Complete process data analysis in order to detect potential failure and implement actions.
Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis and develop action plans
Provide suggestions for new and existing maintenance procedures
Perform capital improvement projects and apply management of change
Read drawings, schematics, manuals and engineering documentation equipment operation.
Devise new approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard technical principles.

- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Industrial Electrical field, prefer chemical plant experience with high voltage and instrumentation experience desired
- Basic concepts of maintenance management philosophy including PM, PDM, PSM, P&S
- Knowledge and application of norm such: NEMA, NFPA, UL, NEC, ISA, IEEE
- Basic concepts of petrochemical industry equipment
- Possess good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Possess good interpersonal skills in communication, listening, and good safety practices
- Basic concept of ISO Quality System which relates with I&E compliance
- Proficient with computer software programs including Microsoft Office, prefer knowledge in SAP
- Strong initiative, team player, and positive attitude
