We are seeking a motivated individual to join our CPR - Clear Path Recycling site's Operations team based in Fayetteville, NC. The ideal candidate for the Bale Feed Operator possesses a safety mindset and applies a high degree of self-driven ownership and accountability to assist in the recycling/production process through the handling of Raw Material and Finished Products.

Responsibilities

The Bale Feed Operator will be reportable to the Shift Supervisor and have responsibilities for the following tasks:

Primary Responsibilities
  • Wash and maintain lift truck per procedure CPR ADM 121
  • Note any damages to lift truck. Inspects equipment prior to each use. Report any issues with equipment
  • Ensure the airline on the trailer is locked out with a glad hand lock before entering into the trailer to unload raw material, and placing bottles onto the conveyor belt to the Metso per Procedure CPR HUS 900
  • Inspection of bales and communication of issues with bale quality to the Shift supervisor
  • Bale Feeder is required feed production bales onto the 1000 belt
  • Clean Trailer of all bottle spillage
  • Discard wires into a hopper in Section 1 under manual sorter station
  • Document all required information from trailer vendor tags on the Bale Feeder Receiving Form CPR HUSF 900
  • Give the completed form and trailer tags to the supervisor at shift end
  • Responsible cleaning the area from Dock Door 6 to the East Wall, around the Metso, platform and Hydraulic System per procedure CPR HUS 900
  • Communicate with oncoming shift and inform them of job status and any issues
  • Inform the supervisor immediately if a trailer has not been staged for production to continue in a timely manner
  • Ensure and follow all applicable plant rules including Quality, Maintenance, and Safety policies and procedures
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
  • Wear and maintain all required PPE
  • All other duties as assigned and or required

Skills & Qualifications

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be 18-years of age
  • Must have a forklift/lift truck license
  • Good organizational skills and detailed orientated
  • Positive attitude and the ability to take direction from management
  • Ability to work and perform in a team environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of raw materials and quality control
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment
  • Ability to frequently move product up to 50lbs
  • Ability to frequently move about assigned work area and work 12-hour rotating shifts
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including working outside and inside a non-climate-controlled facility
